Here’s how a Quiz as a company outing goes in a nutshell
Each quiz is slightly different, but usually a Quiz for a company outing or staff party consists of 6 to 8 quiz rounds, each with about 8 to 10 varied questions that vary in difficulty so that everyone can participate.
Prior to the quiz, teams are made and the rules of the game are explained. Often teams of 4 to 6 people will work together strategically to achieve the best possible final score.
An enthusiastic quizmaster presents the quiz and ensures its smooth running. He or she typically uses audio (think of a music round) and visual aids (think of a picture round or funny pictures and videos to illustrate quiz questions) in the presentation.
Answering the questions can be done the old-fashioned way with pen and paper, or in larger groups, for example, with an app via phone, or voting boxes.
The team that scores the most points wins eternal glory in your company (or at least until the next quiz), and receives a prize from the quizmaster.
The entire quiz, including intermission, usually lasts 1 to 2 hours.

What does a (Pub) quiz as a company outing cost?
The cost of a quiz for a company or team outing depends on the size of the group, the type of quiz and how much customization is required, among other factors.
In a (free) intake meeting, we will discuss what your requirements for the quiz are, so that we can make a customized quote.
Do keep in mind a minimum price of 325 euros for a small group and a simple quiz. Do you have a very small team and/or low budget? Then playing a ready-made pub quizwith colleagues may be a better option for you.
Is a Quiz as an outing tax deductible?
Yes, in a lot of cases it is. Under the Working Costs Regulation (WKR), employers can allow their staff to receive tax-free allowances and benefits, including company and staff outings, up to a set percentage of 1.2% of the total gross payroll. However, there are some conditions attached to this.
Do I need to arrange my own venue?
You may, but you don’t have to. If you already have a suitable location in mind, such as a room at your office or a café or restaurant, that’s great. If not, we will work together to find a suitable place where all the necessary facilities are available.
What types of quizzes can a quizmaster organize?
A lot is possible in terms of quiz theme. From a regular General Knowledge Quiz with various quiz rounds, to thematic quizzes like a 90s quiz, Christmas Quiz, End of Year Quiz. Music Bingo, Football Quiz and much more. Suggesting your own theme is also possible.
Can I add my own questions to the quiz?
Yes, that is possible. Specific questions about your team or company can make a quiz just a little more personal and fun for your employees than a standard quiz.
