What are fun quiz questions for friends?
If you are creating a (Pub) Quiz for friends, it can be fun to make the quiz a little more personal by adding questions specifically about your friends or your friendship in addition to general pub quiz questions.
Examples of this type of quiz question are:
- Which friend gives the best movie and TV series tips?
- Who has the most ambitious goals for 2024?
- Who is the mommy/daddy of the group?
- Who organizes the most fun activities for the group?
- Who is the biggest flirt?
- Who made the best start to the year 2024?
For example, you can insert these types of questions into a special “friends round” in your PubQuiz, between the other quiz rounds.
Open, multiple choice or true/false questions
You might consider quiz questions that ask about facts or events that are about one person in the group of friends. Preferably, these are facts and events that are no too obvious, and not everyone already knows. These can be open-ended questions, as well as true or false and multiple-choice questions.
For example, you might think of questions such as:
- Open question: Who in the group of friends had their picture taken with clown Bassie as a child?
- True/false question: Ilse once broke someone’s ankle while playing soccer, true or false?
- Multiple choice question: Which of these four friends once kissed a Swedish person? A. Henk B. Lisanne C. Michael D. Nadine

- Who in the group of friends knows the best parties?
- Who loves to gossip the most?
- Who makes the easiest contact with people outside the group, for example at a party?
- Who is most attached to their phone and really can’t live without it?
- Who will completely change track in 2024?
Tip: If you make a quiz round with these types of questions, agree that all friends who gave the most chosen answer to a question will earn 1 point.
Personal quiz questions for a friends quiz
You can also think of questions that are more open and personal, and that have the goal of getting to know your friends better. These questions do not have 1 correct answer, but are more about your friends and your friendship.
Some examples of such questions are:
- What friend activity did you find most epic?
- What location is at the top of your list for a friends weekend?
- What makes our group of friends different from others?
- What is the most embarrassing moment you have experienced with your friends?
- What activity would you like to do again with the group of friends?
- What special party do you still think about regularly?
- What game do you prefer to play with friends?
- Which group photo do you look best in? And which one the worst?
